My motivation comes in fits and stutters. Sometimes it is really high, but mostly it is unsatisfactory. I wish I could figure out what kind of external factors contribute to the change, but I have zero clue.

I sometimes wonder if a handicap wouldn't actually improve my overall performance, as I am too good at getting by without actually having to do much. How does one force oneself to not be lazy?
